Donald is an official fish inspector at the department of fisheries. He has a hard time hunting the rare rumpleback dolty. But all ends well when he catches the thirty-five-and-a-half times rarer imposter fish. Donald gets promoted to the chief assistant to the assistant chief’s assistant.

This time Bill only drew one fly and one funny bird.

William Van Horn: “A considerable part of the fun of working with Donald is due to the fact that he can be just about anything he wants. Or I want. Different from Scrooge, where it is always either about acquiring new riches or protecting his treasures, a story with Donald can be about nearly anything. In this piece I just wanted to deal with water and underwater scenes. Just settings and backgrounds which were a nice diversification.”
